Concepts re-issues Iconic "C-Note" collaboration with New Balance
Boston-based brand Concepts is set to revive one of their most celebrated collaborations in recent memory. Originally unveiled in September 2013, the Concepts x New Balance 998 "C-Note" pays homage to the iconic $100 bill. This release also coincided with the official recognition of the New Balance 998's 20th Anniversary, marking a year filled with special shop and brand collaborations.

A timeless design revisited
Arguably regarded as one of their finest 998 designs, the "C-Note" edition is making a potential comeback in 2023, coinciding with the silhouette's 30th Anniversary. Deon Point, Creative Director at Concepts, shared his thoughts on this unique collaboration. He stated, "Money talks, if there's one thing that hasn't changed in the past 10 years, it's that." He emphasized the significance of the "C-Note," which represents a universal language of exchange that transcends time and backgrounds. Whether you come from old money or new money, this sneaker resonates with everyone.
Furthermore, this hints that the 2023 version might draw inspiration from the revamped OG model introduced earlier this year as part of Teddy Santis' Made In USA collection.

Official confirmation of release date and details
Following Deon Point's hint, both Concepts and New Balance have officially confirmed the return of the "C-Note" 998 collaboration. October 5th is the official release date for this highly anticipated revival. The Concepts x New Balance C-Note 998 will be available for purchase on newbalance.com, cncpts.com, and at Concepts stores in Boston and New York City. This reissued classic is set to make a triumphant return and will be retailing at a price of $220.
