Special Edition Off White Air Force 1 Mid Patent Black
First looks of the Off-White Air Force 1 Mid Patent Black have appeared. With accreditation to @younglord and @overnundr.io the photos reveal the inspiration they derived from.
One photo shows the Off-White Air Force 1 Patent Black next to the Air Force 1 High Sheed Black Patent. As part of his PE collection line, the Air Force 1 High Sheed Black Patent debuted on April 1st, 2001, for former NBA Player Rasheed Wallace. Wallace was known for rocking the Air Force 1 High and is credited for keeping the basketball silhouette alive during his illustrious career.
The Off-White Air Force 1 Mid Patent Black shares many similarities to the Wallace Air Force 1 High Sheed Patent Black PE as it features the signature fadeaway jumper silhouette on the heel and the iconic straps with his number 30. Also, the sneaker comes dressed in the patent leather that the PE featured.
There is no further detail on the sneaker's release or even if the public can get their hands on the sneaker—however, one interesting detail on the inner mid-panel. Usually, the text would read Off-White™ for Nike, but this pair reads Off-White™ for Rasheed. So it could imply that the pair was explicitly made for Rasheed Wallace.
