Foamposite's history and Nike's journey on trying to bring the hype back
In general, Nike is actively working to revive the popularity of the Nike Air Foamposite. The period from 2010 to 2014 witnessed an extraordinary era for the Foamposite, reaching its pinnacle in 2012 with the global introduction of the Galaxy Foamposite. Fast forward two years, and the streets of New York experienced a frenzy as sneaker enthusiasts clamored for two colorways of the Supreme Nike Foamposite, released in celebration of Supreme's 20th anniversary. The fervor was so intense that it led to chaotic scenes, with consumers swarming the store in pursuit of the coveted pairs. This situation eventually compelled law enforcement to request Supreme to cease the in-store release, prompting a shift to an online drop for safety reasons. The question is, will there be enough demand for the Foamposites in 2024 to help relive the hype?
