Palace Unveils Spring 2024 Collection with GAP
Palace's Spring 2024 season is buzzing with excitement as the London-based streetwear giant unveils its latest creations. In its eighth delivery, Palace stuns with a collaboration that takes a nostalgic trip back to the '90s alongside GAP.
A fresh start with GAP
With Zac Posen stepping in as Creative Director, Palace is embracing a fresh perspective for its offerings. Collaborating with iconic figures like Tyla, Jungle, and Dapper Dan, Palace is redefining its identity for the current generation. After a successful partnership with Umbro, Palace now teams up with GAP to deliver a youthful apparel range inspired by '90s street style and skate culture.
Bridging communities in San Francisco
Palace and GAP come together in San Francisco, merging GAP's rich heritage with Palace's contemporary edge. This collaboration marks Palace's foray into kidswear, featuring classic motifs adorned with "PAL" branding on cozy hoodies. The collection showcases Palace's signature slanted initial on graphic tees, while international flags unite on "GAP ATHLETIC" prints. Vibrant hues dominate the lineup, with striped anoraks, long-sleeved polos, and paneled shirting adding depth to the collection. Completing the line are co-branded tracksuits, caps, and bags for the entire family.

Final thoughts on the next collaboration journey with GAP
GAP has had some interesting collaborations in the past, including the notable YZY GAP collaboration by Balenciaga. However, the project didn't go as expected. There's been controversy surrounding stolen unreleased pieces sold at a pop-up event in LA, leaving uncertainty about whether GAP will release any of those items. Despite this, there have been other collaborations with figures like Sean Wotherspoon and Dapper Dan. Now, the collaboration with Palace marks a fresh start for GAP. Who do you think GAP should collaborate with next?
