Adidas Reimagined: German Shoe Giant to Drop 350v2 without Yeezy Branding
After Yeezy and Adidas parted ways, the German shoe giant vowed to continue releasing the coveted silhouettes without Yeezy branding.
Starting in January 2023, Adidas will release its first solo 350, the 350v2 Granite/Core Black, pictured below. According to @yeezyinfluence on Instagram, the silhouette will continue to feature the same details as the Yeezy 350v2 including Primeknit uppers, a lateral black stripe with the SPLY 350 text, a semi-translucent midsole, and the brand's classic 50% recycled material standard. Given the lack of drastic changes, the shoe’s comfortable wear and classic design will remain largely unchanged for potentially interested consumers.
In addition to the 350 v2, a “reimagined” Yeezy 500 will also be released in 2023. Since Adidas owns the rights to the shoe’s design, the silhouette, material, and appearance will all remain unchanged.
The upcoming Adidas 500 will feature a multicolor upper and white sole as seen above.
It appears that “Yeezy” shoes will remain entirely unchanged, with everything besides the branding staying as it was before. This is certainly good news for millions of consumers in love with the silhouette.
